EQ System

2023 Navion, when starting the EQ stabilizer system beeps even though jacks are retracted. Hit the retract button and the system is fine. Today while driving the stabilizer down light would flash and beeper sound, stopped to check, jacks are fully retracted. Pushed retract button, system did its think, beeping stoped. For between 3 and 5 minutes then I would get the same flashing light and beeping. So the system thinks the jacks are deployed, but they are not. Any thoughts? is there a reset on the system? Perhaps a leaking solenoid? Any help appreciated.

Hi Steve, now they would have shipped it to me to install myself but I decided to drive on up. Looking at their website it shows them in Michigan on the Indiana border so I’m not sure if they still have a factory in Indiana. |

My 2020 D does that occasionaly. Usually if it's been parked for a while. I can't figure it either. Haven't found an answer. Sorry.

So, I had a call today with EQSystems, spoke with a tech who was very helpful. Told me the first and most likely guess was that the system was not properly bleed of air. So the process was fully extend all jacks, let sit for 10 minutes, then fully retract, let sit 10 minutes, repeat this process 3 times. The theory is that the air will be forced into the fluid reservoir and the systems will be purged. Tried it today, so far it has worked! He mentioned that if this did not work there is an additional part I can install (they will provide the part) on the pressure sensor which will fix and issue with the sensors being “too sensitive”, sounds like a bit of a known problem. He told me there is a video on their site that shows the additional part. I plan to investigate and may install anyway. But for now it seems good. Thank you again for the responses.

Happens to us. beeped all night long. Next day upon retracting the awning it just shot out and stayed out. Had to manually retract awning and duct tape it in place. The EQ made the beeping noise and would stop beeping after a while. Then one post would not go down at all. brought it into dealer they fixed it and has been working properly without the extra beeping. So it may just be a warning that something is going to go wrong soon.

Thanks for your note. Curious if you have any idea what the “fix” was??

The fix is the DV2
Kit. Look at the video on their website.
