Good Morning:    We are putting out beloved 2006 View for sale.  Our View has 85,000 original miles.  This unit has new graphics,  has been stored inside since we purchased it it in 2015.   All service is up to date and the Transmission was replaced at 81,000 miles along with a transmission cooler.   We have 200 watts of solar on the roof.  All systems work as they should.   We have it listed on the Missoula Montana Craig's list.   Asking price is $47,000.   Will accept offers    
I will miss this forum,  you all have been of great help and assistance over the years.

Howdy:

You need to research the transmission on these older views,  Tons of info on them.  They go out at about 80K,

Dave, where did you get your transmission from?

My 2010 View (2008 chassis) is in the Mercedes Sprinter Shop and needs a transmission and torque converter.  There is a 5-6 month wait for an "official" Mercedes reman, or I can get a remain for about $800 more from Gearhead Engines within about 6 weeks (with blessings of Mercedes, but not their warranty).  Any suggestions as to which way to go?
